Transient Transcendentalism

We're still in the in between time up here in the mountains. It's not quite winter yet, but it is more winter than not winter.

Once the Winter Park ski resort opens up and the new crowd of faces moves in to the town, everything will be more settled.

People up here have a name for the time after the ski season ends and before the summer begins. It's called "mud season." It's a period when snow is still melting, but it's still too early to go mountain-biking or hiking. It lasts from about mid-April until late May.

The time in between late August and early November is the second mud-season in Winter Park. We have two mud-seasons per year. How many other places have two of the same season every year. The second mud season is not literally as muddy as the first one, but the vibe is the same. The town is relatively empty, and everyone is waiting for something to happen. We're not in the swing of things. We're all sitting on the swing-set, waiting for a push.

I hope the push comes soon. I'm getting bored.

Webs in my brain

I completely rebuilt my website today. I'm using a program called freeway express and it's pretty slick. I'm feeling pretty shredded now after spending so much time at the computer.

I think the new website is pretty cool. It's a little busy looking with all the pictures, but I think it makes sense and it's fairly easy to navigate. I think it will work for now. I'm going to reorganize the Made for TV pages and a few others. It can be confusing work.

Phew!

A lot has happened in these last few weeks. I don't know where to start. I don't know when to start either.

I think I'll start tomorrow.
